Seri keempat Vespa Balap Indonesia (VBI) Cup Race 2012 seharusnya digelar pada 6-7 Oktober 2012 lalu, akan tetapi karena Sirkuit Gokart yang dipakai untuk menggelar kejuaraan Rotax Max Challenge akhirnya kejuaraan ini ditunda dan baru akan diselenggarakan pada 13-14 Oktober 2012 mendatang.
"Sampai saat ini sudah ada 130 peserta yang mendaftar kepada kami. Target kita sampai 13 Oktober 2012, semoga bisa mencapai 250 pendaftar," ungkap Indra Moelyawan, Panitia VBI Cup Race 2012 ketika dihubungi melalui telpon (9 Oktober 2012).
Lima kelas akan mewarnai jalannya perlombaan. Diantaranya kelas standard pemula dan standard open, tune up pemula dan tune up open serta kelas FFA. Untuk meramaikan acara, juga dibuka kelas khusus motor matic. Untuk kelas matic maksimal hanya 30 nomor peserta.
"Untuk entertainment kita persiapkan acara freestyle motor dan tentunya sexy dancer," pungkasnya.
